Anyone any experience of these? Limited, it seems, to 6x4 but otherwise quite good?

Selphy? I'm not familiar with that term.

I have a Canon CP200 dye sub and I'm very happy with it. It only prints 4x6's or credit card sized photos, but they're good quality. Con: With the cost of the ink ribbons and paper a print from one of these printers is more expensive than many print services. However, the convenience and immediacy were the key selling points for me ... I can take it anywhere (with electricity) and have immediate, good quality prints with a protective coating.

Hi,

I used the Selphy 400 printer recently to print and I'm quite pleased with the results. However, being a long-time user of the competing HiTi 640PS (http://www.hi-ti.com/english) dye-sub printer, I must say that the colors produced by the 640PS (both were printed without using any photo enhancement program) are more vivid. This view is shared by a few others who have seen the printouts I had.
