My first time seeing a humming bird and its nest, its kinda cool, always wonder how their nest looks like :D The pine corn will give you an idea of the relative size of its next. Enjoy.

Nice captures. I got one in Palm Springs a couple years ago, first (and only) time I ever saw a nest. Compare the size of the nest against the cactus spines. Also, note the tiny threads used to secure the nest to the cactus.

AMAZING! Thanks for sharing, and apparently after posting that photo on another site I was told that they use spider web as a sort of glue for their nest. Those are what those tiny fiber/strings are.
