Emanuelle and Pastelle (not sure which is which) at a private party last night in Kent County, New Brunswick, Canada. Both are accomplished life long musicians and are on the road constantly. I croped the original shown here to see if I could better the photo.

I'd be interested to know the story behind their names, especially Pastelle... Very unique. :)

i also like the orginal better...

BTW...i am new here, this is my first post...and i am just surfing the posts trying to learn.

Right now, i feel very intimidated by my canon rebel purchase... i was just thinking...'what did i get myself into'....but i know i want to make this a hobby and as all hobbies go, you only learn by trying and trying again...

hats off to everyone for helping those new to the hobby....i am saying thank you in advance since i know i will need all of your help

The portrait orientation works well in this image, creates a good picture in my opinion.

Thank you for your fine comments. I had the opportunity to photograph the twins Emmanuelle and Pastelle outdoors as well. I did the best I could and please feel free to comment.
Bruce I will try and find out the origin of Pastelle's name for you when I see her again. At the moment both girls are on the road playing all over the world in a musical group called Vishten
