If there are any professional wedding photographers looking to help an up and coming wedding photographer by really critiquing my work at www.shelleyjuranovichphotography.com (http://www.shelleyjuranovichphotography.com). I know the site is rinky dink but it is my first website and I have been getting a lot of business. I would just like a professional opinion on my work. Only serious opinions please!! Mahalo for your time.

Welcome to POTN!

First, if the site brings you business it serves its purpose and works :)

Couple of design comments:
- own domain name (not redirect) is always preferred.
- the index page is way too large. Show you photos separately and show only the best of the best.
- color scheme is ok, but the roses picture is strange. Maybe if you could put a slideshow there?
- site is quite slow and sometimes totally unresponsive (free server?)

About photos, there are some nice ones like http://www.freewebs.com/shelleyjuranovichphotography/camillabruce.htm but then some like http://www.freewebs.com/shelleyjuranovichphotography/lynnjohn.htm and http://www.freewebs.com/shelleyjuranovichphotography/maryliam.htm which should not be in pro portfolio. Choose wisely. I feel many photos would benefit from more fill flash (bigger lighting setup).

Maybe you should pick out a few of what you consider your best and post here for c&c. There's way too many photos on your site to critic them all. At first glance, however, I noticed several where the faces were too dark and/or nearly silhouetted. A fill flash would have worked wonders on those.

EDIT: One thing I noticed about your rates: From 2 to 4 hours you only went up $250, but from 4 hours to 6 hours you went up $300. I would expect the incremental jumps to get smaller as you go, not larger.

Start using a flash bracket.....perhaps with a Lumiquest Pro Max system. Not a lot of money and will really help.
