I went to a ballet performance for elementary school kids this weekend, but they took a few breaks from the kids to let some more experienced dancers come out.

I took these shots from about 20 rows back and between the heads of the people in front of me. All shots were with the 20D and 70-200 f/4L. The theater was dark, but lighting on the stage was bright enough.

Very nice ... not sure it's ballet ... looks like jazz with those shoes and finger snapping ... but then I call the 140 dances I shot last week "ballet" but they are jazz, tap, modern, hip hop and all sorts of things. Nice shots.
