Pekka, no disrespect intended, but today I noticed that the G3 has it's own category on your board. Why do you have the G1, G2 and now the G3 all in their own categories, while ALL 4 digital SLR's that Canon sells ( and even does not offer yet) all have their own single category?
Just an observation from a curious member.

p.s. how's your shutter. Did Canon get it right?

And while you're at it: I still have an 'old' S10. Can I have my own forum as well?? :D

Hi Paul,
Well it's not cast in stone. Logical followup to separate G1 and G2 boards was a G3 board.
But this needs a redesign, you're right. I would like to to keep as few boards as possible.
My most likely solution would be:
"D-series SLR" (D30, D60, D90...)
"1D-series SLR" (1D, 1Ds, 1Dx...)
"G-series" (G1, G2, G3...)
"Other Canon digital cameras"
"Lenses and accessories"
Other more openly titled possibility (some don't like these):
"Consumer digital EOS cameras" (D30, D60, D90...)
"Professional digital EOS cameras" (1D, 1Ds, 1Dx...)
"G-series digital cameras" (G1, G2, G3...)
"Other Canon digital cameras"
"Lenses and accessories"

It works. Sounds a bit different (it is a D60 shutter I think). Exposure works perfectly because the man did full system calibration, too. Nice work, but slow.
The CMOS cleaning helped, too, as the image is visibly clearer (looks sharper). Maybe the CMOS should really be cleaned properly twice a year just to get rid of all the smudge and grease that gathers on CMOS.
