I getting ready to order pocket wizards off of Amazon, and I'm not sure which cords I need to order. Any help would be apprecitated.
By the way, I'm connecting to Canon 580ex and 580 ex II

I would recommend www.flashzebra.com lots of info on which cables to use there.

PC screwlock-to-miniphone for the mk 2 and maybe a hotshoe-to-miniphone for the mk 1. I also suggest flashzebra!

this isn't NEEDED, but I'd recommend the screw lock type as well. The PW comes with the cord to connect to the EXII, but it comes loose quite easily.

since the 580 mk I doesn't have a PC connector you'll need an adapter, like a hot shoe to pc connection. As said earlier the included cord with the PW will work with the 580 mk II.

I just did the mod for my 580ex. It was pretty easy to complete. Some people may have trouble soldering to the leads though. They Navy has trained me in that stuff so it was cake for me. Whole upgrade only cost me $4. Wait make that $25 if you include the trip to radio shack. Gotta include gas money these days.
