What settings should i use to do rolling shots like this?
In this picture the settings i used were shutter speed = 1/50 , F13 , and Al Servo Af.

PLease help me out.

What lens were you using?

The easiest way to get rolling shots, for me at least, is to get another friend with a car (car 1) and follow your target car (car 2). Have cars 1 and 2 travel at the same speed, but at a distance. Safely hang out of car 1 and snap away at car 2 using a shutter speed of 1/(vehicle speed).

For example, the cars are traveling at 50mph. Your shutter speed will be 1/50. Put the camera in Tv mode and set the shutter speed at 1/50.

It's better to use wider lenses, also. Anywhere from 10-30mm should be fine. Any longer and you will get more camera shake than you want.

It's looking dark to me even though you used M exposure. If you trusted your meter, look at this:
How the subject affects the exposure:

First set the f-stop & shutter speed you need. Then adjust the ISO.

Please explain why the shutter sheep would be 1/50 if traveling 50mph?

It's a rule of thumb that I use. You can use whatever shutter speed you like, but the 1/(vehicle speed) works fine for me.

I shot this at 1/60, F/11 ISO400 with a rebel xt with kit lens. The car was going maybe 20-30 mph.

BUILD A RIG!!!!!

In all seriousness..an easy was to attempt it was mentioned above. Get in another car to get the pictures. Sit in the trunk and shoot out towards the car. Vehicles have to be just about the same speed. Shutter speed sounds pretty good too. I think i would change my mode to TV mode, and put it at 1/50 (or whatever number i wanted) and let the camera change the aperture as it needs to. Might help you out a lot as far as exposure is concerned.
