Had the opportunity to shoot the Truck Series at Mansfield today. Not really my cup of tea, as I prefer road racing, but it was a nice challenge to do something different. Here are a few:

Good stuff
That last lap 3 wide had me on the edge of my seat.
This is the best series on pavement in the USA

Very nice series of shots. I was chatting with one of the photogs that covers the series and he was bummed about not having any of the photographers holes open. He said the race director had them shut? I don't know why?Did you happen to get any of the #12 or 21 pit stops?

Yeah, having no photo holes on the outside was a bit of a bummer. No biggie though as you can shoot through the fence. The tracks PR guy seemed a little miffed that he couldn't get anyone to open those up.

Sorry , didn't catch those pitstops either. I really didnt shoot much of the pitstops as it was a little crowded down there, the pitboxes seemed really small, and I didnt want to be the guy who stands on an air hose or something and ruin someones race.;)

Thanks for the comments.
