Great set skippy. I love the rich colors maintained throughout the images and you have excellent exposure. Care to share your exposure settings? Thanx for sharing.

15 is my favorite of the set, fantastic shot. 16 and 17 are really nice too. i'm not as much a fan of the long exposure/light trails/blurred shots.

edit - i'll post my shots as a comparison.

thanks

mostly I'm shooting at 100 ASA, around f7'ish with speeds between 0.5-1 seconds.

I used my 24-105mm on this shoot as I usually shoot much smaller venues where I'm almost on top of the performers, and in those conditions I use a 17-85mm.

Sometimes the long shutterspeeds give interesting images.
I would have liked a few more "standard" shots maybe.

Some images are way too dark IMO. Intentional I presume, but not my cup of tea.
I'm also put off by the "Lightroom Blues" in some.

Nice set, although not my style.

#16 was my favorite. in general the rest are just too dark for my taste but i suppose the cure is a bit of a gothic/dark band so its in the mood.

I tend to agree with René. I prefer the composition/exposure of the last 4 shots, which are more standard style concert shots.

Welcome to POTN by the way, you've got some really nice stuff on your site. And I'm a little jealous that you've shot at Red Rocks...such a great outdoor venue.
