Lambo's are yellow - it's the natural order of things. This is messing with nature :p

I would like to know how much the artist paid for such an extensive pallet. Good PS work. I'd be interested to see where the original shot was taken.

I wonder how the artist was able to "draw" on the windows. Also, would the body have been given a couple good coats of clear to protect it? Regardless beautiful shot

It could easily be done with Sharpie white paint markers , or simple as laying down some white vinyl.

I will attempt to answer as many of the comments...
I forgot the exact number of sharpie markers the artist went through but its in the 100's. There is definitely some sort of clear coating on the body of the car, it is apparent the closer you get. The windows are done with silver sharpie. I can not remember the name of the artist, but he is pretty well known. The whole process took a couple of weeks.
There was clearly some pp work involved in this photo. The car belongs to the owner of Prestige Imports, and I am tying to pick him up as a client. Hope he enjoys it as much as some of you have!

it looks nice but it also looks like you swapped that car into that backdrop as the wheels dont look like they belong on that ground if that makes sense.

I darkened the wheels to go along with the rest of the darkness/contrast look of the scence, but it looks much better in the hi-res version.

Is the sky edited in?

Is the sky edited in?
It has just been converted to B&W, and the contrast has been bumped a bit

Well since we're all extremely high paid photographers...this is equivalent to chump change for most of us

The car, background, and sky aren't put together very well. Its really obvious that they were put together. Try using a softer brush when layer masking to create softer joining lines.

There went the value on that car
Be interesting, is it worth more now being a a canvas masterpiece or less because, well it's marked on. Only Lambos can have this done, try it to a Ferrari and heads will roll!
Google brings up a lot, there's also a Flickr page.

I've read your site, and it was genuinely an inspiration to me; As someone who has always doted on Lamborghini's since a young age, the idea of owning one seems so very distant.. But the site gave me a little bit of hope :D
That said, you have no idea how much I envy you, lol.

IIRC wasn't there one that was gold plated? I think I recall pictures circulating the internet a few years back.
I'm not digging it at all. I actually feel bad for that poor car. Nevertheless, a wonderful picture.

Personally... I think it ruins the car. Cars are made to be driven, not become a piece of art work. The car itself is art, it doesn't need any help from anyone. But, I must admit, that was pretty cool looking.

I love it. Best looking lambo I've seen. Anything can become art. And to be honest super cars are perfect pallets for it. They are cars that in general respect are not daily drivers, and are use more as show cars cruising around town anyhow. If someone did this to their daily driver ford focus I think that would be less acceptable.

That is for sure a sweet shot of the car..
As for the lambo... One word for that: Wow.

IIRC wasn't there one that was gold plated? Pushing the "LOOK AT ME!" factor to new, ridiculous limits. Maybe they could use it in a Viagra ad, "You don't have to gold plate your car anymore to get "attention"? ;)
