How do I set PTP mode (ID MkII)

I've searched the Internet and the manual for this but I can't find a menu option to change the download method to PTP, can anyone help?

Excuse my ignorance David, but why would you want to do that? Personally, I have never downloaded or uploaded to a digital camera since they invented CF readers.

I often download from the camera and I've found that when using the firewire cable the adobe down-loader can't find the files. The last time I had this with a 20D it was fixed (when using USB) by switching the camera to PTP mode.

You will have to sort out the firewire issue I'm afraid. I wouldn't use Adobe to do the downloading, Downloader Pro from Breeze Systems is about the best thing going, but there again I'm biased as it fits my workflow.
