Anyone recommend the best place for a Canon EF100-400mm L IS USM IS, the best iv seen is £1099 anyone seen any cheaper than this:confused:
And another one on my list is a Canon EF 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 DO IS USM best price iv seen again is £899 anyone seen any better

A cheap price is not necessarily the best deal. Go with an established vendor when you're spending this kind of money. There are a ton of scammers out there.

Suggest that you consider the Canon EF100-400mm L IS USM IS .

At the price that you'd be paying, the L lens can't go wrong with image quality. BUT must warn you, it can feel heavy after a day of shooting.... so a monopod buddy is a must.

B&H enjoy a good reputation.

I've shipped into Canada without issue from them. May be different going overseas, but worth the effort.

Try FotoFileOnline.com., They're in MBK at Siam Sq. Bangkok. 100-400 is £840, 70-300 is £677. Buy both and have a fantastic FREE holiday.

(Anecdote)

I had my 100-400mm lens out at a wedding (I was shooting from the very back of the church). Of course, that lens comes in a nice Canon silvery-white case. A Nikon shooter was admiring the bare case and wanted to buy it from me!

Well it was a guy from Ebay that supplied me a 550EX recently 'from Ebay'.
His adverts say he can get any Canon item. I sent him email, got the price, and sent him £830 direct with paypal.....now am I brave or what??

Lens is now sat under the Christmas tree.....:D
