well the sunlight is really harsh, shoot later in the day.
In the fist pic, you have metered and centered on a gravel pile. Why?
This parking lot location you have picked out leaves much to be desired. Try and shoot at a better place to set of the bimmers body.
Focus on the car. The car is what people want to see, not some crappy gravel pile.
Better shooting next time.

I'd say the location is the main problem, here, for sure. You need to crop tighter on the car and avoid gravel piles altogether.. Also try and avoid contrsaty backgrounds, otherwise you'll detract from the subject - In this instance, the car. Also, if you don't have an off camera flash, then you might want to shoot a bit later in the day, when the sun is lower in the sky, and the light isn't as strong (therefore, no sharp light and not as much of the car in shadow)..

Main points to remember, really, are:
+ Try not to shoot in direct sunlight
+ Crop the car tighter in the frame - Just leave a small space either side of the car to start with, unless you're trying to capture a particular scene around it
+ Find somewhere nice to take the photos
+ Focus on the car, not the surroundings
Sweet car, btw :)

No problem. I'm no expert myself, though, so someone who's more experienced may have better advice :D

shoot later in the day. A few Car Lighting Tips - Updated (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=70290)
Watch the reflections in the body & windows, too.

To go more into detail, try to avoid parking spots.. the lines will be distracting to the viewers. Great car however, I'd love to see more of that thing!
