after a long and frustrating fight with "zoombrowser" I have taken the advice offered by so many of you and dumped it.I have installed "Breezebrowser" and although still early days I have beeen very impressed with the results.
I have also taken your advice with "Downloader"but here comes the problem.................I really dont understand it.I have read and re read the instructions but no I cant get my head around it! this is very embarassing as everyone has said what a simple programme it is.
After download are the images captured by the main breezebrowser automaticaly. If someone could spare the time to explain in very simple non tech language I would be very very grateful.

In what way are Breezebrowser better than zoombrowzer?
Anders (still using zoombrowser)

Anders,
Two serious issues with ZB are that it is pretty unstable, and that it does lossy rotation.
BB is a much better piece of software for sorting, raw conversion, proofing, HTML production. The one significant thing that it does not provide is image cataloguing.
Try it! You'll love it. :)

Thanks to all the members for your help.I am up and running with "Breezebrowser" and "Downloader" and think they are great!! It is such a relief to be free of the dreaded Zoombrowser or as some of you call it "Doom browser".The only thing I miss is the "Photostich" facility that was the one thing that worked well.I have Paintshop pro and can use that but I havnt got time to go on the six month course..................
Anyone know a nice easy programme that will do the same as Photostich.

Hi Geoff,
Photo Stitch is a stand-alone application. It should be on your start menu with your other Canon software, unless you've rmoved it.
