Attended the first VW event of the season here in Ontario, weather was a bright sunny day and of course I managed to forget my CPOL so 99% of the pictures got blasted with blown out sunlight! Here's two that I was at least fond of, the second one being my most favourite of the day. C&C welcome as always.

No comments? Too saturated? Too much highlight removal? Rip 'em to shreds :)

I like 'em both :) The vignetting on the first is a bit much for my tastes, but other than that, good work :)

I'd like to see more room at the front of it than at the back? Give it some room to move into? You framed #1 to show the cars behind it which are OOF. What's most important in the image?

That's not a bad idea actually, I framed it for a 3/4 but didn't think to actually give it some lead space in front rather than give it more room in the rear. Most important is obviously the subject at-hand being the car itself but I do see how the framing slightly played against it by giving focus to the Audi to the left and the Jetta behind it. Might be better to crop some of that excess rear out and re-frame for equal spacing in the front and rear?

I like number 1, would have been better if it wasnt a standard parking spot shot but I still like!

side note....what is OOF

thanks for the feedback! I really dislike parking lot shows because of all the clutter, shooting the cars proves extremely difficult and especially at this one where we tried jamming over 100+ cars into a very small lot. The fake blur was a bit of a test but as you can see through the windshield/passenger side window it has its flaws ;)

OOF is short for Out Of Focus btw.

maybe better results on the sunny side?
