thanks MJ :D the 150 is great more reach than the 105 but does need to be used with tripod or monopod
I,ve always prefered natural light shots but am trying out flash too as the 150 does need more light
thanks Werner :D

Lovely shots Pete. Like the light nice and soft brings out the colours better.

Lovley shots Pete, i do prefer natural light when the conditions allow as Brian says it brings out the colours better.

Beautiful shots Pete and I love the look of the natural lighting.

I know from the short experience I have had so far with my 40D that these must have been difficult to expose for being a dark subject with good light around them. I think the 40D gives a very pretty effect with the lighter background - I dont think its my imagination but my 350D never had quite that kind of effect.

+1.

I think these are fine as is. Lovely shots Pete, I'm very jealous here!

I prefer natural light shots myself.

thanks everyone :D
I'm really pleased with the 40D it is easier to get the exposure right, you are right Linda its harder to get right with the 350D, these would not have looked so nice with the 350D
I saw them first on saturday ,did not get any decent shots though. I went back yesterday and it was slightly overcast perfect light for natural light shots :D

Great shots, looks like you had nice flat light for them which is ideal, strong sun or a flash is a killer with those metallic paint jobs they have.
