I wanted to get some nice pictures of my favourite place :D:D, But not my usual "burnt out" cockpit shot.

Originally, I was going try and set up my tripod between the back seats, but it just didn't work out so I had no choice but to go hand-held. Unfortunately, it was darker than I thought and at ISO 3200 and f/4.0 I was only getting a S/S of 1/4's. In the end I had to give in and use some fill flash.

C&C much appreciated!

You should try to photoshop some better scenery out the windshield. The instrument panel looks great.

I've got to get round to shooting a cockpit next time I go flying - my advice would be to get it outside so you have nice scenery outside, wait for a day when there is plenty of textured cloud, then underexpose the ambient light by about 2 to 3 stops to give lots of texture and mood in the sky and light the interior with flash.

The attitude indicator showing 14-ish degrees of right bank kills it for me...and I'd assume it would for most pilots...Other than that, I agree with the lack of outside scenery. Great start though, I think next time you will nail it!

Great lighting. I think it came out great.

Well...being vaccum driven the only way around that would have been to start the engine. Not an option in the hangar.
