is that blur post processed, or did you take it like that? TSE? Awesome shot either way!

Yes, it was taken like using a 10D + Sigma 105mm macro plus all three of the Kenko extension tubes. gives a very narrow DOF but you need to be very close to get the shot.

Hi Tim,
It is simply a diagram in a book, specifically "A New Kind Of Science" by Wolfram (very heavy read but very interesting).

OK, the page it was taken from is approx. 8 inches by 6 inches in size. The image below shows the whole page with the area in the photo above highlighted. I hope that gives a better idea of scale.

The reason i'm interested is i need to eventually get some sort of macro setup going.
