Looking for some critique on this one. Mainly curious about what others think about the composition. specifically, what do you think about the angle where the trees meet the sky?
(btw, I've since cloned out the leaves in the upper right of the photo)
thanks,

I was going to mention those three leaves in the upper right.
Looks good from here, but I don't see anything about the angle on the tree line than needs a comment.
I think the lighting is interesting, and I like the colors in the foliage. The water bothers me a bit in that it looks too fast. Perhaps a faster shutter speed would make it look more natural.

The colors are vibrant. It looks like a nice place.
The big rock bothers me. I find myself wanting to peer around it to see what's downstream.

I like when photos do that :)

If I were to pick out something in the image that I would change it would be the lighting. The high noon sun has created some pretty high contrast that I would tame a little.
Here is what I did to even out the lighting a bit (lighting and contrast adjustments using Nik Vivesa):

hmmmm . . . I kinda liked the splotches of light because I thought it added a touch of interest. I really like the way you mellowed them out though. I think it improved the shot quite a bit.
thanks for the comments everyone.

Looking back over all the comments, I have to say that I think Flo and joedlh have a good point in regards to the view upstream. It would probably better fit the classic composition to have the viewer be able see a lot more of the river (assuming that it is possible).
