This is what I look at everyday.
Doral Arrowwood Hotel in Rye Brook New York.
My parameters are set to neutral and don't have CS at work, so I used Microsoft Photo Editor to sharpen the photos and do the auto color balance. They are over exposed by +1 .
This is actually a Golf Course or part of it. It's not odd to see the occasional deer come out and roam around.

This next photo is off to the right of the 1st photo. It shows the rest of the golf course, which is covered in snow and also the housing complex's that are further up in the distance. Amazingly they are a bunch of mirror houses that start at about 90,000 or so, and they have their own complex complete with shopping mall and the among other things.

thanks for viewing.
Images are hosted on pbase, so if you have difficulty viewing them I have posted an alternate link above.
The images are shot with my kit lens (which I just got) and the 20D in jpeg mode. Just figured I would shot what I look at all the time.
During the evening the sun sets right over the trees and when the clouds are out, it makes for a nice set of colors.
edit: p.s. both shot at 18mm
