Last is best by a margin. #3 is nice-ish, but a bit soft and dark.
I'd have framed #2 and 3 more to the right.
What is happening in #1?

wow very nice, i got to shoot them here in brissie and the lighting we had was so very very poor..first two songs was almost pitch black..

rene, #1 is showing what DEP is all about..every one of the band members goes completely nuts on stage, some of the best on stage presence ever..

#5 would be pick of the bunch

1 and 7 are my favorites. ive been waiting for them to come near me again so i can shoot them. like stated above, one of the best live bands around. nothing really compares to seeing DEP live.

best live act i have ever seen. whats happening in #1 is right at the start of the set Greg Puciato climed a speaker stack and then onto the pole that was holding the lights.

also, #7 was right at the end of the set, and Ben Weinman had just kicked over his guitar cab and is now standing on it, meanwhile Greg has taken a china climbed the speaker stack again and hung the china + stand from the ceiling

thanks for the kind words

You've done extremely well considering the amount of smoke that's billowing everywhere. It looks as if they are a pretty exciting band to watch as well as shoot.

You seems to have got much better lighting than I did when I shot them. I shot them last year and got nothing but strobe lights for the entire night.

I then got kicked in the head by the guitarist and called it a night.

Really like the last picture the best in the set.

first two songs were entirely strobes and smoke. could barely see the band at all. then the strobes calmed down a bit, still had rediculous amounts of smoke, alot of the photos i still had to use flash for but bounced it from the ceiling so as not to effect the colours too much. If anyone ever has the chance to go see this band, let alone take photos, do it

i always get these guys confused w/ The Dismemberment Plan.

was there a photo pit, or were you relegated to shoot from the heaving masses? looks to be #2. if so, double kudos.
