I told a coworker/friend of mine that I would help her find a photographer for her wedding. I believe the event will be about 4 hours. It is a one location shoot. They will be having the formal ceremony in Alabama, so this one will involve probably a very short ceremony (maybe the candle lighting thing or something similar), the usual dances, cake cutting, and then just regular reception photos. It seems she wants only limited posed shots, as she said she likes the more intimate, unrehearsed shots (maybe a PJ style).
Her budget is limited. I have told her what to expect as far as pricing for well established pros, and that you get what you pay for. The fact that it is not a particularly long night and that it is only one location should help in pricing, however I know that the higher-end photographers are out of her price range.
So, if anyone is interested or has recommendations, please send me a message. Please include standard pricing info as well as a link to your/the photographer's site.
I am not interested in receiving quotes from those who have limited experience, do not have a portfolio or equipment to do this properly.
Thanks!
James
