Hi All,

I'm new to the Forum here. I thought I could open up an intro by letting my new found photography hobby speak for itself through my gallery on Webshots. Please comment, good or bad, for I know I have a lot to learn! Any and all help will be appreciated!!

A pile of very interesting shots. I am no expert. As far as I can tell these are essentiallly trip shots.

IMHO travel photography is not the easiest genre to succed at. You are on the move at sub-optimal times of the day, plus; when you are on a boat you are stuck in a WYSIWYG environment that you cannot (as a photographer) control.

I say you did very well.

* The nite shots are great (probably the best "set").
* The boiling wather under the sea platform is "real" !
* The inner passage to Juneau is a treat although the light is not at its best and the forground probably could be croped to draw us into the beauty of the water and top-lite moutains beyond.

Well done.

PS: Have a read of Jonathan Raban's "Passage to Jumeau'.
