JTL Mobilight Users -- Can you recommend?

I am looking at these lights, and have read some good reviews. Can anyone comment on these lights?

I had some, both failed withing a few months with the same failure type. They were underpowered to begine with and my simple 580EX on camera flash had almost as much power. So I boxed them up, and they are still sitting in a corner of my studio as I didn't feel the cost to repair then was worth it.

PS. I have two broken JTL Mobilights that I'll ship to anyone in the US for $100. It also includes three battery packs for mobile shooting. The battery packs should still be good, and were never used more than a half dozen times.

$100 for two lights with three batteries, plus the cost of repairs may be worth having. But paying retail, I wouldn't recommend them.

Keep in mind, your mileage may vary. They may have come a long way since I bought mine. If the reviews are good, balance that against mine and I could have just gotten a couple out of a bad batch.

But they also aren't much more powerful than 580EX. Maybe that says a lot for the 580's, or little for the JTL's. And since that was the case, carrying 3 580's is a lot easier than 3 Mobilight 300's. I don't know what the cost difference is as I haven't looked recently.
