View Full Version : 580EX II display won't stop blinking

Setting up my 580EX II for off camera in M mode, master, 1/2 power, zone A, A:B ratio 1/4:1/2. The LCD won't stop blinking. Can anyone tell me what's going on?

Thanks for any insights.

edit- Just realized that the wide panel is down, and with the wireless sensor aimed at the slave the flash thinks its being used for bounce so this results in the flashing LCD as a warning. Documented on page 20 of 580EX II manual.

Check page 20 of your manual..... Your "wide panel" is probably not pushed all the way in.
