View Full Version : 580EX II won't fire from PC connector

Not my day, I guess. My 580EX II will not fire from the PC connector. It is set to M, master mode, group A. The same camera and cable fire another flash, so the problem must be with a flash setting on the 580EX II (at least I hope). I have ratio set so that the master flash (group A) is 1/4 and the slave (B group) is 1/2.

Any help appreciated.

580II's PC port is disabled in master mode.

Thanks! PacAce had pointed this out a month or so ago but I forgot. Haven't used flashes off-camera since, but I should have remembered since I had purchased a PC to hot shoe adapter just to solve this problem. Man, it really isn't my day!
