No idea if it's any good, I just got the email. Caveat emptor.

Edit - I never got the link emailed, so you probably shouldn't waste your time.

Humph... one week ago it was "only available for the next 24 hours".

So far no spam.

I'd give the link, but I don't think that's appropriate

Oh yes, in the email was also a "Click here if you never want to hear from us again" link

I used it.

Tim how are you?

I'm great, the summer wedding work's done except for a few things left over, the winter IT work has been started. I haven't visited the GKPE thread lately, it's too fast and i'm too busy.

Unless you're a web designer this book will be of very limited usefulness to you; it has one brief chapter titled "Getting Started in Photoshop" that skims through important concepts like layers, and an even more brief section on editing photos in Chapter 7 "Manipulating Images"

Most of the book focuses on things like creating buttons, designing a web site, etc. Note that the sub-title of the book is "The Ultimate Photoshop book for Web Designers"

Not to mention that this book has been available on the Web for years if you know where to look.

Just been e-mailed the link, and the book downloads OK. Not had a chance to have a proper look yet, but hopefully it will be handy when I start trying to create decent web pages.
