OK, I've tried looking for it, but I could simply be simple.
What with the little checkmark icons next to some of the threads?
And when rating a thread, what happens if one person checks 1 star and another person checks 5 stars?
There's nothing else too important in my life right now.... I need to know...

The checkmark means You are subscribing to the thread.
The stars mean that somebody have rated the thread. Look in the window title just below the post reply button to the right. There are 4 dropdown boxes, one of them is rate thread.

And the pin means "sticky".
If you place your mouse pointer over the images you'll see some text to explain in (works with most browsers).

Aha. It doesn't work with my FireFox. (1.0 Preview, but it's set to Paranoia++)
And (5 + 1) / 2 = 3
Let's see Bob find an error in that equation. :)

Heh. That checkmark is pretty handy.
But now I can't change my vote. :(

I find the checkmark pretty handy. All the posts I reply to automatically become subscribed threads so quick links -> My subscribed threads is just like View your posts in the old forum
