It loads fast for me, but then again I am running on our cable companies version of Verizon FiOS. I like the overall design as well, very good work. I would take the about page out of all caps, along with the contact us page. All caps has the illusion now a days that someone is YELLING! Most people find it rude when they read something in all caps.
Also on your contact form, try to make the text that you enter a lighter gray, I can barely see it when I type something into the fields.

It's a bearable load time for the photos I guess, how do you have it set? Does it scale to monitor size, or are the photos a certain size no matter what monitor it's viewed on?
I use a 28" monitor, and it filled up the screen. While this is nice to see a large version of the photos, they all seemed almost blurry... like they were OOF. With the quality of posing/lighting I see in these shots, I seriously doubt you'd let them be OOF, so I chalked it up to a low res image being stretched to meet my gargantuan monitor, lol.

It took me less than 2 seconds to load the images at home and at work (We have Verizon DSL at the office). I also am using a 20.1" monitor and the images as well fill up my screen, but as long as OP has it set to fit the screen size and resolution it is all good. I really do like your websites use of flash though, plain and simple.

It's a little slow on my end - but it's not unbearable.
