Hi!
I've got UW housings for my S50 and S70. The housing for my S50 is one year old now. I've read that it should be replaced each year. A google search turned up a couple of places to order new "O" rings. I just thought I'd see if anyone here had any sources they'd recommend. I need to order soon as we leave for the Caribbean in 17 days. Thanks!
BTW, love the new site and how the "share" is split up in to catagorys!!!!

Okay, I wanted to get this ordered so I went ahead and ordered from Canon parts # @ 732-521-7230. With FedEx shipping charges it came to $20.00 US. That seems a little steep so if anyone has any other sources I'd still be interested. I now have an S70 housing as well that I'll be needing an "O" ring for in the future.

What size O-rings? Are you talking round O-rings? Or... A specially shaped rubber gasket?
McMaster-Carr industrial/machine supply carries the standard O-rings of all diameters.

It's the main O ring for the housing. 10 or so inches around. The one that seals the door where you put the camera in. Not round but flexible to fit in the channel around the door opening. You're probably right about McMaster Carr having one to fit. The problem would be with me measuring correctly to get the right size.
Thanks for the reply, I may give them a call to see if they can help next time.

Thanks! I did see that but was afraid I wouldn't get it in time.
An Aside; I got the O ring from Canon on Monday no problem. This O ring weighs a fraction of an ounce or maybe a gram or so for our metric friends. It was packed in a cardboard box that probably measured 12 inches on all sides and was stuffed with packing material. Was like a treasure hunt trying to find the O ring in that huge box. Guess Canon orders the "one size fits all" boxes. lol
