Dead pixel - NO! A dead LINE at LCD..

Oh darn, I've had a month this G1 and now it has a blue vertical line in the LCD.

I guess it goes on guarantee? Is this common behaviour?

A good friend of mine has exactly the same problem, his camera had it straght out of the box. It doesn't seem to be a hardware fault in the LCD; if he flips around the LCD, so that the image flips too, the line moves to the other side. Same with you?

Anyway, I think you can just get it repaired or replaced at a Canon dealer without any cost. This should be on guarantee.

Didn't even think that with that way, yes, the blue line turns when I flip the LCD around, weird thing :D. Althou there will be now some vacations on Finland so I'll be waiting to replace the cam after them, might get it sooner.
