1. Once I have read a new topic, the color changes to a darker blue and it stays that way (even if new replies are added) which is kinda strange. What is really strange to me, though, is that forum names actually change color once I visit them once and never change back, even if there are new posts. Would it be possible to set something up with cookies so that instead of saying "(14 people viewing)" it could say "(5 new posts)" or something of that nature?

2. I kind of find the new Photo Sharing forums inconvenient. I like the idea of having multiple categories and all, but it reminds me of what I dislike about the Fred Miranda forums - too much clicking and going from one forum to another to another. Would it be possible to make one sharing photos feed where all of the threads from the various sharing forums would be dumped into, of course you would have to post into your specific forum, but for those that don't want to load 10 forums, we could just click the feed? I just think it would be a huge timesaver, especially for slow connections. I don't know how everybody else feels about this, but I gather that it was a popular idea. Does anybody else share my feelings on this?

No thoughts either way?

Yes,

1. The link color change is standard "link visited" color as with any other web page. I agree those should be designed to be clearer and I'm working on new styles. For the moment you should look at the icons for new posts, not colors. We have also "new posts" link on top.

2. You could use seaching for Photo Sharing section only (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/search.php? ) with keyword 'photo' - that would bring most of the posts under sharing forums. Then enter posts and use browser back to return to list.
I'll try to find if virtual forums is possible....

I just wanted to say that I like how the board is shaping up . . . and to thank Pekka for his time and effort(s). The colors are much to my preference and the text is clear and easy for me to read. "Who Moved My Cheese?" . . . a tongue in cheek reference to the old colors and etc., I am very happy with the current state of things.

Thank You . . .

Re: share... I agree. I have posted a poll online here to see if anyone else feels this way.
