19 inch moniter at 1600x1200...still cant see it.

800 pixels in any direction is best.

Photos look great, could use some more contrast.

I think this is my only area of knowledge in photography, since I grew up on the race tracks and have boxes of horse racing magazines and win pictures in closets in my apartment from my families old business.

Shutter speed is too slow, generally if you going for a tight shot, you want the horses head or the jockeys action/facial expression, otherwise its a full shot of the horse and the jockey

also watch the angle you shoot the horse at, shoot them as the come towards you, not past...

These are huge!

I'd prefer a bit more variety I think... maybe some images that are not 'side on'... also some images of the horses actually 'racing' each other would be nice.

TRUUCHA no problem...as soon as the east coast tracks kick back into full swing im pulling all the strings i can to get some photo ops...its funny, because growing up ALL i wanted to do was get away from horses...and here I am getting into sports photography with a mad desire to get back into what I tried to get away from...

which track are you at?

and def make those pics a "little" smaller...
