Frank, forgive me, but there is a reflection on the rear fender that is very distracting. I know if this was my pic, you would certainly mention that.

I also try to avoid cars that have these little characters that appear to be sobbing/pouting/hiding. I really don't get that. I usually just pass by those cars.

Other than that, it's a great shot. You normally have info about the car. I can only assume that it's a late 40's Ford, but not sure.

I do like the composition, and the fact that it is away from other cars. I know sometimes you just have to shoot what you can.

I like the shot, but I'm just trying to think like you do.

If you are referring to the stripe pattern on the rear fender, it's not a reflection. it is a fender wrap (original factory installed).

I know if this was my pic, you would certainly mention that. As you also said, "I know sometimes you just have to shoot what you can." I try to reserve the "reflections" comments for when someone has the option to move it somewhere better.

Sometimes, with a unique car, I'll shoot it anyway & hope for a better opportunity later that day.

And here, sometimes I'll throw up my hands & then click on the Next button. ;)

Sorry, It is a 1947 ford,Boy do I feel stupid! The year on the front plate probably should have given that away.

Frank, I'm not used to seeing many stock cars around here at our local shows, especially with fender wraps. So, I take back my remark about the reflection.

I was trying to watch the Nationwide race last night, and trying to get caught up here too. I guess I should have stuck with the race.

Now that I'm batting 1000, goforphoto, that is a great looking Ford. I'm still not a big fan of the character on the front bumper, but only because I've seen so many of them, and personally, I would prefer a clean shot of the car without them.

Right now, however, I think I'm going out in the garage and hang my head on my bumper for a while. ;)

Great shot. I love the contrast of the boy and the car.
