help my images to "overlay" rest of my site

i have a nice implementation of the simpleviewer on my site:

but i would like the images to open over the entire page (as portraits looks tiny right now) anyone know how to achieve this?

careful on the size of the pictures as not all people have large screens .... I use floatbox which is virtually the same but has the added benefit of being a slideshow ....
