I had to share these before I signed off for the night. They are bad shots from when I was first learning to bird...but...

A juvenile eagle was hunting a Canada goose every bit as large as himself. The goose survived unscathed to honk another day but he went under the water about 20 times to avoid the juvie who tried to catch if for about 20min. It was really a sight.

these guys were just starting out fishing for the day, a bad choice of how to get across the surf very nearly capsized their boat...they did end up with quite a bit of water in it...which they bailed out as they headed out to fish. A thorough soaking is not a good way to start a cold day on the ocean.
