Really nice colors and a nice shot - except it seems to be out of focus. What f-stop did you shoot it at?

definitely it could have been sharper. It's an awesome subject. The fly is eerie and that's a plus. The flower is beautiful. The colors, the exposure, and the composition are excellent.

Notice the fly from it's waist to it's head. Does anybody else see what I'm seeing?

I see the face of an alien being escaped from the cast of Star Trek or some other senister alien movie.

I used a low apperture as i was trying to create an effect of having the dragon fly in focus only. This is because it was taken in my garden and the background isn't that asthaetically pleasing (Wall and soil!)

I really like the colors and the composition. Try a sharpening mask on the body of the damsel fly (it's not a dragon) and that will clear up the softness. Nice pic!
