I like the last shot. Your color temps look really warm on my monitor... could just be me.

Thanks Hatch, still too yellow huh. I shot RAW and cooled them down a bit in post even. I need to get my monitor calibrated.

Good and interesting series of shots :-). The lighting looks harsh are you diffusing the MT? The colours also look very warm on my monitor as well.

Found that without really looking.

I have a question: why does macro photography have to be about bugs? I mean, it's cool, and it looks great. I'm not trying to take away from it, but... bugs? Really? Hasn't it been done?

Images do look a bit warm on my monitor (which is calibrated), but not overly so. It's quite pleasant to the eye imho. Good series as well.

Hey, NP. I thought it was a secada at first. Let me make one thing crystal clear - I LOVE macro photography. It's really one of my favorite types of photography. I love colors and it usually incorporates just that and the subject is always simple. It just confuses me that every time I look in a macro forum, all I see are bugs. Again, not a huge deal, because they're pretty interesting to look at. Ideas? I dunno. I took this (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v468/Domino81/IMG_5512.jpg) last year at Hocking Hills in Logan, Ohio.

I took all of those with my S2. I know it's not typical of what you'd see with macro photography. But I was never into chasing bugs. I didn't want to post pics because I thought it might take away from your thread. I just wanted to try some ideas out. If it helps, cool.
