Is there a way I can set up PS so that with one click, it will...
1. Opens all images in a folder one at a time (in this case jpeg)
2. Performs several directed actions such as Auto Level, Sharpening, some Filter, etc.
3. Save the image or save a copy somewhere else, then close the image.
4. Rinse and repeat for all images in the specified folder.
This would help me IMMENSELY in terms of cutting down PP time for weddings. I can just run this, come back and custom touch select pictures I like. Boom, I'm all set.
I hope to God you guys can help me doing above or if it's not possible, describe anything similar or close. Would this be under batch processing or automate somewhere?
Thanks!
[update]
I just tried batch method as below. The BIG problem here is that the filter is a third-party that pops up its own menu. I just tried to incorporate this into action and it stops at the menu-pop up.
Come on. There's really no way around this?

Yes, you can through actions and batch processing.
First create an action, that includes all the actions you want to use.
Then, choose batch processing from the automate menu, and you can choose what action you want to run, where you want it to be saved.
Take a look here for some more information.

Obviously, this pertains to resizing but can be adapted for any action you want.

Actions will do the trick. However, I wouldn't want to "auto level" anything in a batch...

The second column of the action palette is "Toggle dialog on/off". Just switch it off for that step. It may always use the same settings for ALL your shots if the filter allows for this, otherwise it may just run it's default settings.

Are you referring to the Red box with a '...' to the left of the action? It's already off (no red box icon). If I turn it on, it action just doesn't work period.
I really wish this works. I'm using Power Retouch third-party plug-in as the filter and using its Contrast function (which is WAY better than in-house PS one).
Batch Actions
A shortcoming of the Windows version (apparently not the Mac) is that the PR plug-ins cannot be used for unattended batch operation. The action statement simply opens the plug-in dialogue window and does not even recall the settings in force when the action was recorded.
GREAT.

For other things on my work computer I have used a Macro Program to be able to handle several programs and to automate them for me.
Its running on another computer that I don't have access to right now but you can do a google search and find many. They usually give you a free trial period to try them out and see if they will work for you. I have never tried them working with PS but the one I used would work with any program
