Impressive gold dragon. Looks silver in the last 2, lighting??

Lovely shots - just a little on the bright side, but you should be able to reduce the brightness a little in post processing - other than that they are very good.

Thanks for the comments.I know what you mean about the brightness Linda,its hard to tell on my monitor sometimes!The 'silver' dragon is in fact Blue Jack, its difficult not to wash the color out of the broad bodied chaser male when using flash,although in bright sunlight the blue seems to reflect back white.....if you know what I mean.The more gold looking dragon is a 4 spotted chaser.

Did you re-do these and upload them again? They dont look quite so bright - but I am now viewing them from my work pc. Would be interested to know if you did change anything.

No not a telephoto Attic,150mm sigma macro and 20mm extension tube fitted.
Linda, I have not edited the photos at all, they are the originals.I have issues with my desktop monitor sometimes, the shots look fine but when I view them on my laptop they are too bright......obviously calibration differences.
