I recently got an Epson R1900 and love it!! However, all my prints are coming out darker than whats on my monitor. My monitor is calibrated, and I'm letting Lightroom manage the color, via the correct icc profile for my paper/printer. I feel like there's something I'm still not doing correct in the color management process, but am not sure what. I'm new to printing, so am still trying to learn, but cant seem to get over this hurdle...any advice?

I have the same thing with Elements and my Epson R1800. I think that Windows is getting in the way. Try turning color management OFF in Lightromm and turning it ON in the print driver.

No, do exactly the opposite. Turn OFF the color managment in the printer driver, and turn ON the color management from the software. You can turn off the printer color management under the printer settings when you go to print an image.
I have an Epson R1900, and had the same problem until I figured out I was "double profiling". As a general rule of thumb, if prints come out too dark, its a good bet that both the printer color profile and software color profile are on. Similarly, if prints come out too light, the printer and software color profiles are probably both off.
All this is explained in the instructions that came with your Epson, btw. Review those instructions carefully for more detailed step by step setup procedures.

In the link from my sig, there are a few links on using printer profiles. Double check to make sure you do it right.
Otherwise, provide a "step by step" of your workflow, and some more details (what screen, what calibrator, what luminosity, etc)
