Welcome, and oh my god that will have been expensive. Now you get to spend the rest of your life trying to learn how to use them effectively.... or at least the next few months ;)

You will love the trasition from compact digicam to DSLR, I did mine a month ago, and haven't looked back (want some more glass now though!!).

Very nice bit of equipment, you'll love it. It's a lot of fun learning to use it and even better when you take GREAT photos. :)
sarcasm mode ON:
I see you only have one bag, if you continue to frequent the forum, you'll need several more, if only to carry your credit card bills (which we all accrue)
sarcasm OFF:
Merry Christmas :)

Hi Rense,
Your series are awesome and I think It costs at least many thousands bucks. Hope that you can learn how to use them all before 2010 lol.
Just one thing, why did you get these both two lens: 17-40/4.0L - Tam28-75/2.8 XR Di 580EX.
U just need the Tamron :-)

Spoken like someone who doesn't appreciate wide vistas . . . If he had a 1Ds or film EOS, 28'd be wide; on a 20D it's "normal".
