I really like the first shot.the colors are amazing against the aluminum..the contrast is fabulous to me.
Second.not so much of a grabber..

Two more... I experimented with Aperture's plug-ins here by desaturating and then saturating the red... thoughts?

I think the phone booth is intense. I love it. Especially the signs of abuse (dents/dings). Nice grab!

Thanks! Yeah it was one of those things where everything was perfect. I have more close ups of the phone, keypad, etc... but I don't get the same feel as I do with this shot.

the phone and meter are uses of selective coloring that really work for me - and i'm usually not a fan. so very nice job.

thanks for the feedback... i really only used selective coloring in the meter shot, where i desaturated and then re-saturated the meter. the phone shot was as is, no real enhancements other than maybe bumping up the yellow a bit and playing with the exposure. i'll have to look back at the shot in aperture to see what i did as i don't seem to remember off the top of my head.
thanks for the feedback though!

The b&w's don't grab me but I really like the phone booth and parking meter. As other have said I love the colours & contrast. It would be nice to see them a bit bigger though.
