Photo contest

Hi,

Forum members might be interested in a photo contest that Lindemans wines is running. Winners will have their photo appear in a Lindemans ad in People magazine. Info and rules are here if anyone would like to take a look:

The contest is open until Jan. 15.

(I hope it is appropriate to post this here. Full disclosure: I'm helping Lindemans get the word out to people who might be interested in the contest, and I thought that this might include members of the this digital photography forum.)

I took a look at some of their entries, or at least what they have considered some of the best of the week, what a joke.

By entering, each entrant regardless of entry method, forfeits to Sponsor all rights to the content of his/her entry and the concepts embodied therein. Entries become the sole property of the Sponsor and will not be returned.

Why would I want to 'give' them my image! In return for nothing? Nice scam!! Not on your life would I do this...:evil:

I dropped in for a visit - saw 4 images - two drunken party images that rated about a "2" and two more interesting but not excellent images. I gave them a "7". Then I left. :)
