Does anyone know the structure of this camera, I've had a small look around and couldnt find much - this website came up in my search actually! It's obviously alot better build than the 300D, but how much so? Metal frame, and hard plastic body?
Cheers.

It's actually got some Magnesium panels.. some plastic (I'm sure they have some fancier term for the "polymer" but in the long run .. plastic) on a stainless steel frame.

look at today's guns. A lot of them are using polymers as their frame and those things have to withstand more stress than our cameras :)

And probably some glue. A good engineering material, glue, if you use the right sort and use it wisely...
