Is she a good mom or enjoying lunch?
Shot with Rebel XTi and 18-55 kit lens. Man, I just can't wait till I have enough $$$ to get a macro lens!:(

Did have a set of Hoya diopters (that I got here) on the 18-55:) I really want to get a good lens as I just love Macro. Don't know why but, ever since I was a little kid (over 50 years ago ) I have been fascinated with the "little" world. My wife says I need a pith helmet cause of all the trees etc I manage to bump into while looking down and walking forward or sideways or in whatever direction looks "buggy".

brilliant shot!

Thanks but, in reality it was LUCK. I saw the spider and had no idea it was holding another.
I still wonder if it was a meal or a free ride?

nice shot. pity about the blown out portions, but a good find still
i shot a jumper with EC at -1 or -1 1/3 i think../that helps me to avoid that.
i notice also that the zebra jumpers tend to have a white spot on their palps that is also hard to expose right...always a challenge!

I think you have proven that jumping spiders and kangaroos are actually related ;)

Great, but sad, image. The little one's eyes seem to be pleading for mercy.

By the time this image was taken, it was probably dead :( Pretty sad, but Jumpers are known cannibals.
