View Full Version : First 20D pictures - Why not share?

krobert6 gave me the idea. It's Christmas, shopping is over, half a million of us have just bought the 20D and started taking pictures.

Why not share our first effort? I don't mean pictures inside the den when you were finding out how it worked but the first picture that you shot when you were trying.

These will not necessarily be very good (see mine below) but why not, just for a larf show our first stumblings - a sort of confessional ?

I got my 20D last week when my 300D broke down.
I first used it proper at my daughters school xmas concert where i caught this you shepherd.

you are right why not share although i do feel the image does need cropping to remove the branch that sticks out o the right hand side???

ISO1600 with very old 28-80mm/f3.5-5.6 lens (at that time, my only other lens was 70-200/4).

Anyway the picture itself is from taijiquan demonstration. Three people in the picture are doing second part of traditional Yang style slow set.
