A650IS

I love the vari-Angle Screen on the 650 and it is 12.1 MP and has 6x Optical and 4X Digital zoom. I am a newbie at this but this seems like an awesome Point and Shoot which I will use for everything from Portraits to outdoor shots. Are there any reasons the A720IS would be better? Does anyone have a better suggestion? Thank You!

The 720IS is slightly smaller, but most would say the 650IS is a better camera, if you can afford the extra $100.

1) larger sensor
2) more MP
3) Vari-Angle LCD
4) longer battery life
