I need help guys. I bought this camera I think 3 months ago. And already there's something wrong with it. When I was in the beach yesterday with my friends the camera was working. But on my way home the lens got stuck I guess? When I turned it on? When I turn the camera on the lens makes a weird sound like there's something stuck inside that's preventing the lens to move or something.. I wanted to open it up but I can't find the right screwdriver! Should I send it to Canon repair or attempt to fix it myself? I could probably video the camera when I try to turn it on and let you guys hear what it sounds like. Any help would be appreciated guys.

You've gotten sand inside a camera that was not meant to be user serviceable. I had the same thing happen to my SD600. Send it into Canon under warranty and you'll have her back as good as new in about three weeks.
